Very simply, the short answer is with very few to nobody. Being missionaries involved in our own church plants in Mexico, we have precious little time to go around to other ministries either in Mexico or other countries to "minister". Perhaps one day our own ministries will allow us this, but as to date, we do not associate with very many other missionaries.
But the real question here is not so much particular groups or ministries or associations, etc, that we actually associate with (because we don't have time, energy or desire to get involved with other groups), but what are your principles that guide you as far as making a friendship, preaching for somebody else in their ministry or church, or getting involved with other ministries, etc. What guides you so that we know where you stand?
Where we go and don't go - This is definition by me, Missionary David Cox, of where we seek to go, and who we seek to fellowship with (bring into our supporter and prayer warrior base), and who we do not want to have anything to do with.
The above page is a copy of what I send to new pastors when I get their name and address and know nothing more about them. This is a protection measure for me. By clearly stating my position, they will have to either accept it, or be deceptive and dishonest in allowing me to come into their church. Some pastors have received this brochure and still allow us to come only to be disappointed that we are "fundamentalists", or against the Southern Baptist Convention, or whatever, and I point this out to them. I do not want to waste my precious time going to a church where we are not in at least a basic agreement. Fundamental churches (which is where I identify myself), will have no problem with me stating my position "up front". Quite the contrary, they will applaud me for it. All the rest will be bothered by it. That is my point in sending it out in the first contact information I send out.
Quite simply, I am first a Fundamentalist (separatist), and secondly I am an independent Baptist. Beyond that I cannot do much towards qualifying what I am. I do not keep up with all the movements and happenings in Christianity in the United States (although I try). But I will try to put forth my view towards things that you can use to clearly identify where I am.
