How to Create a Book Module
|
THEWORD shows is superior power here in being able to do a text search throughout all of your (non-Bible) modules. Bible modules are searched separate from book modules, so it does that using full Boolean operators in the Bible Search Window. This is very simple to do. Watch the Flash demo below, and then you can follow the steps on this page.
FLASH DEMO - Searches across all modules. STEP 1 - Open a Book View Window, and a Book Search View Window.
STEP 2 - Type in your search word or phrase. You can type in just a word, or a phrase (with quotes around it).
STEP 3 - Decide which modules you want to search. Note that you can by default search all your installed modules (which can take some time as your library grows), or you can make layouts with subsets of your library (Stacks as I call them), and search only that subset of books. Finally you can search only in the currently load book module. The layouts need to be defined and already existing to select them.
STEP 4 - Search.
HANDLING THE RESULTS
The Book Search View window will have the results, and you can click on the nodes to expand them and see what chapters in the book has your search word, or clicking on a chapter node will load that chapter.
