FAQ - Frequently Asked Questions
1. How
do I change the Bible version for the Bible verse tooltips?
Before you change the Bible version for the Bible verse tooltips, you need to move the BibleView window to the version in which you want the tooltips to appear. Under the title bar (in image at right, the Bible Version selection bar (in the image it says "KJV(ES) RV2000 RV60 (ES) RV60+...") is the grey bar under the blue title bar (in the image it says "Mark 8:36 (KJV (ES)) - Bible view [1]"). There are two triangles on the Bibleview window, one in the titlebar beside the Book, Chapter, Verse and Bible version information, and a second triangle exactly below this first triangle. Click on the lower triangle and you will see the image at right. Click on "Set as default (KJV (ES))".
File -> Preferences -> Select the Bible version from the dropdown menu. Here note that there are two special options.
This is the Default, and the "Current Bible text" (whatever version you have active in the BibleView at the moment.
3. How do I change the font size for the Bible?
There are two ways you can change the font size for a Bible: The temporary way, and the permanent way. A. The temporary way. Very simply you just click on the green magnifying glass in the left Bible menu buttons or you use Control Mouse wheel up or down to make bigger or smaller.
The Red magnifying glass makes it smaller (Control Mouse wheel down).
B. The permanent way. For those with visible disabilities, it is recommended that you reset the Bible font size to something bigger rather than having to play with it every time you want to look at the Bible. You need to go to the Main Menu, File -> Preferences -> Bible Texts
Here you can "permanently" set the font and size of each Bible text. (Note do not click "Set as default". This sets the currently selected Bible as the default Bible and doesn't have anything to do with font nor size.) |
