Opening a Bible View Window You open a BibleView Window by pressing F11. You open a BibleView Search Window by pressing F10.
Simple Bible Search In the Bible Search View window, type in your search word and click on the green arrow after the search text window.
In the Bible Search View, you will see a list of the books of the Bible where you search word or phrase occurs (Green names for O.T. books, and Red for N.T. books). To the far right, you will see the number of occurrences per book, and percentage of how the results in that books relate to the total results, as well as a bar graph after it. Each one has a plus before it, and you can expand by clicking on the plus, and you will see the individual Clicking on the expand search nodes will allow you to see all the verses instead of just the ones you click on.
You can see the verses beside the references by clicking on the third icon on this menu bar (looks like a document with an "A").
Bible Search History You can go back in your Search History to research things you have already searched for. The Green left arrow on this menu bar is used for this.

Bible Search Options
TW has a few general options here, such as increasing and decreasing the font size in the search results, using a virtual keyboard for searches in the Greek and Hebrew Testaments and Bible, and clearing the search results window. There are a lot more options to be used with searches which we will leave for the Advanced Search Page. |
