SPAM

If you put certain words in your email to me, there is a good possibility that it will not reach me.

Explanation: Anybody that has a website on the internet will eventually have a webspider visit their site. After this, all the email addresses on any page on that website is then sold on CD's of millions of email addresses, which means you get spam (unwanted emails soliciting anything from loans, mortgages, diplomas by mail, viagra, dirty pictures, etc.). I presently receive about 30-50 emails PER DAY, and rarely does anybody from a church write me in all of that. So I have spam filters in place. If certain words (cuss words, sexually explicit words, or for example, words like "diploma", "viagra", "pharmacy", "prescription drugs", "loans", etc) are in your email, it is likely that I will never read your email. If in the subject line you have garbage, (such as "asdajel sd!·556$ ·22=^") I don't read it, I delete it without reading it. Once you have made contact with me, I put you on a "friends list" and your email always gets through. 

SUBJECT LINE IDENTIFIERS SO IT WILL GET THROUGH

Therefore, if you send me an email, please mention the reason in the subject, and if you do not get an answer, please send it again with "missionary", "Mexico", or "church" in the subject line. My email address (drcmex, or dcox) is not sufficient because they use that regularly in the email spam. If you cannot get through at all, call or email Leon at Ferndale Baptist Church and ask him to forward your email to me.

SPAM WORDS THAT WILL DELETE AN EMAIL BEFORE I SEE IT

(Note that these are not all the spam keywords I filter out, the rest are very obscene and I hope you would not have any of them in an email to me.) WARNING - Some of these words may be offensive!

Sexual Words - naked, nude, enlargement, manly unit, porn, hardcore, sex video, hot sex, erect, xxx

Money Words - debit, cash grant, consolidate, loan, credit problems, bad credit, refinance, mortgage, life insurance, insurance quote, home owner, limited time offer, as seen on TV

Diploma Words - Bachelors, MBA, university diploma, degree

Health Words - weight loss, reverses aging, cures baldness, prescription, agra (Viagra), valium, pharm (pharmacy).
