Adobe Acrobat para Palm

How to know when things are added to this website.

Welcome to my Palm OS site.

I am working in developing resources for the e-Sword (www.e-sword.com) free Bible program. Unfortunately there is no e-Sword program for the Palm OS like the Pocket PC. But even so, I am working to put books that are free of copyright into the Palm format (pdb). This website is a resource point for posting and distributing these resources.

In general, I am trying to duplicate what I have in my other websites in the Palm. Note that I do not own a Palm, but I am using OpenOffice to format my odt (Openoffice format) and MS Word DOC files to this format. That means I am completely "blind" as to whether these files work, work well, are readable, etc. on the Palm. Please send me feed back to help me fix what is wrong.

Also note that under the Palm OS there are two possibilities for viewing books, (good possibilities): (1) pdb Palm native format, and (2) pdf files. I suppose that perhaps a MS Word DOC file or RTF file can be also read on the Palm, but personally I would not recommend anybody downloading more DOC files than he has to because of the possibility of a Word Macro Virus. The RTF has caused me some problems on my Pocket PC, and I am likewise not too happy with it (conversions cut the file in half for some reason).

If you prefer PDFs, then please go to my Pocket PC site (http://www.davidcox.com.mx/PPC/) and download the pdf files. I do not know if that site will continue to exist (or this Palm OS) site. Both are taking a lot of time and effort and I do not see much feedback from either. I have a regular PDF library site (http://www.davidcox.com.mx/library/library.htm) that is much more extensive, and I am seriously considering just putting these files in and among those pdfs, and doing away with these sites.

If you have religious files in the PDB format that could be of use to others, please email their location on the Internet or send them to me, and I will consider adding them to this website. Please note that either they must be out of copyright, or you must have the copyright permission or be the copyright owner for me to include them on this site.

Emailing me and Feedback

Because of spammers I am hesitant to post my email address. Please do not repost it in other forums except like this.

EVERYTHING HERE IS FREE!
But please consider sending us a small donation to help us keep this site on the Internet. Our site has about 5 gigabytes of information, and as of Nov 2007, more than 50 gigabytes of monthly traffic.  A small donation to our missionary ministry would be greatly appreciated!

If you have a module not listed here, please email me the URL and I'll try to add it.

Please also note that I have some pages ("lenses") on Squidoo. If you cannot donate to me directly, please visit these pages every couple of days, and I will get a kickback ("royalties") of a fraction of a cent per visit. It is not much, but if I have several thousand visits, I will get $5 or so. It is not much, but truthfully even that little bit is applied towards my hosting fees which I have to pay every year to keep my sites up. A Paypal donation, or a direct gift of $10 or so would make a tremendous difference if many people would do it once a year.
