Above: To left is an artist's representation of Juan Diego presenting the roses that Mary gave him with the instructions to build her a shrine. Miraculously her image is printed on his cape. To the right is the actual cape of this myth.
Below: This is another old picture of the interior of the old Basilica when there were still allowed Mass in there. Because of the settling of the ground, it is now condemned and closed to the public. Seems as if Mary supposedly being at the right hand of God to intercede for all mankind, she could have asked God where to build her shrine to her so that it would not sink into the ground in the future!
