How much money should a Church send monthly to each of their
missionaries?
How to send us a "snail mail" (regular US Postal service)
letter.
Please note that the most secure way to get a hold of us is by email. We do
not receive mail at our house, but rather at a post office, and we check that
about once every two weeks.

How to send us an email.
Warnings: I have email filters and an
email Spam killer program (MailWasher Pro)
in effect at all times as well as Norton Antivirus Software. What that means is
that any email with certain words will automatically be deleted BEFORE I SEE
IT!!!! Even if your email makes it through these security checks, it is possible
that I will delete it just looking at the subject line.
IMPORTANT: Always put the following in
the subject line of your email - "missionary", "from a supporter", your name if
you support me or have corresponded with me before, your church's name, or
"Missionary David Cox", or something to let me know by JUST READING THE SUBJECT
LINE, that your email is not spam. If you send me an email and I do not respond
to it, you should resend an email with just the subject line "please add me to
your friends list". This overrides the Spam killer software. Then resend your
regular email.
MY EMAIL ADDRESSES: or
Note if you see no email addresses above: The above email
addresses are in code and show appear normally as a link. This is to
keep Spammers that search my website from adding my email addresses to
their databases. If the addresses do not appear normally, they are "davidcox"
at (arroba) "davidcox.com.mx", and "dcox" at "davidcox.com.mx". Type
these in by hand and it will get to me.
Note: DO NOT SEND ME EMAIL AT THE FOLLOWING ACCOUNTS! I am dropping them and
I do not check them anymore.

How to set up a live MSN Messenger Chat session.
I have MSN Messenger Chat, so when I have the computer turned on
I usually will see people enter MSN Chat.
How MSN Messenger works - This is a simple
program that opens a window and sends something like emails back and
forth in real time. I write something on the screen and we both see it,
then you write something on the screen and we both see it. We have a
conversation by writing short messages back and forth. We can also send
files back and forth. If you wish to
discuss something with me, make recommendations, or get information from
me and you don't want to spend a lot of money, this is the way to do it
on the cheap. It is also live, so it is very good for making something
interactive.
How to set up MSN Messenger - If you are
unfamiliar with how this works, you download (http://messenger.msn.com)
and install MSN Messenger on your computer. You then register for a free
hotmail account (www.hotmail.com).
You send me your hotmail address and you enter my hotmail address in
your MSN Messenger. Then when I log on to the internet or when you log
on to the internet, all the "friends" you list in your Messenger will
see a brief window over the date and time at the right hand bottom of
their screen saying that "so and so" has entered a MSN session.
My Hotmail Address:
IMPORTANT: If you want to set
this up, send me an email (not at the hotmail address but at
one of the above addresses) and tell me when you are going to be looking
for me on the internet so that I can make sure I will be logged on and
waiting and watching for you.
Note: Please do not send me emails at my hotmail
address because I seldom check the mail there, and it is better to use
the above email addresses (go here to see them).
From time to time I get fed up with the spam I get through Hotmail and
will change my email address with them. If you already have talked with
me on MSN Messenger chat, I will update you, otherwise check back here
for the correct hotmail address.

How to come and visit us, or set up a summer
team.
We have had a summer teams come visit to work. We appreciate your wanting to
come and see our humble work we are doing for the Lord. We would like to invite
you to come and visit with us. We have to do things in a way that would honor
the Lord, and that fits in with our work and ministry.
Conditions for summer teams and visits:
(1) Our ministry comes first before our visitors. If you do
not come to be a blessing to us or to help us, then we cannot have you
come.
(2) We cannot pay for your expenses. We are on a very limited
budget, and as such, we cannot pay for your expenses in coming down. You
will have to pay for transportation to Mexico City, as well as lodging
if you are not staying with us. If you eat with us, whether in our house
or in restaurants, you should help us with these expenses by either
paying for your part of the restaurant bill or leaving us with a love
offering to cover our expenses.
(3) Seeing Tourist attractions. We are glad to "get away" for
a little bit and visit tourist sites with you, but we also have a
ministry which we must attend to, and this must be limited. We
especially appreciate visitors that want to pass out tracts, work on our
church building, and help us in whatever way.
