Notes from my Mailbox
Pastor David Cox
This page contains translations of emails and letters I have received from people. This is not all of them, just some representative ones.

from Javier January 2007

"First I would like to ask God to continue blessing you for all the material that you have put out on your website. Next I would ask that you help me install e-Sword modules..."

from Eduardo January 2007

"Dearest brother, Would it be possible that you teach me through this medium (email/Internet)? Thank you."

from Cesar Tamaulipas Mexico December 2006

"I want to thank God for all the material that you have made available to the Christian public in general. I am very convinced that all this material will be of edification and growth for me, and my ministry, and our congregation that the Lord has allowed me to preside. Even though my economic means are not very vast, but I want to cooperate with some material (pdf files)."

from Esteban - Santa Ana CA USA December 2006

"A fraternal greeting in Jesus Christ and the truth of the His Gospel in Peace and Salvation. Let me introduce myself - I am Esteban,... and I am a pastor with a mission of the Orthodox Presbyterian church here in Santa Ana... Brother I was looking for material... and found your site, and it interested me very much. I still have not read everything especially your own works, but I want to know more of you and your ministry."

from Aida - Venezuela November 2006

"We are a family that resides in a small town in the Andes, in the state of Merida in Venezuela. We have found your website which deals with the topic of disciplining of children, as the Bible indicates it should be done. We have four children... (asks advice of her particular problem with her kids)"

From Diego - Mexico November 2006

"What a great blessing to the people of God that you are doing in publishing biblical material for e-Sword. Now there is no excuse for not studying the Word of God!"

from Julio - October 2006

"Many thanks brother for your... (Internet) pages, which I greatly enjoy. I feel very identified with the doctrinal content and it is so oriented towards the centrality of Christ and His Word. I am a pastor/elder in an assembly of brethren (I believe they are called "Free Brethren" or "Open Brethren" over there). Receive a fraternal salute from your fellow servant."

from Miguel - June 2006

"I thank you enormously for your help. It is a marvelous site that has been and will continue to be of incalculable value for the ministry, above all from the biblical position of Fundamentalist that is so lacking in our day and in the midst of so many false doctrines and false teachers."

from Pastor Fernando Quiñones - Zacatecas Mexico June 2006

"I want to present myself. I am Brother Ferndando Quiñones, Pastor of the Maranatha Independent Baptist Church of Zacatecas, Zac. I am receiving your emails, and I think that they are excellent themes to be considered. I thank you for your effort in presenting this great ministry and help. May God continue to bless you."

from Luis - Santiago Chile May 2006

"I am looking for printed tracts, and I believe I have found a very good (web) page, but I see that you do not send printed tracts. I am trying to download the hymns... Well, I want you to know that I am a Christian Fundamentalist, and we have a local radio station, that is, for a certain group (of people), and we transmit 24 hours a day, preprogrammed programs, except Saturday and Sunday which has 2 live hours. My question is, do you give away free your sermons on CD?"

from Cesar - Nicaragua May 2006

"I am so thankful to Our Lord that he has opened this door, because while I was searching the web about false prophets, I found your site. I am blessed by it, and the Holy Spirit continues to give me wisdom and using you and your precious family. I have used up a lot of my time designing and translating teachings to send out through email, and God has given me a position as marketing manager in a company that exports coffee and shrimp in Nicaragua, and I have resources where other don't, also God has blessed us with a projector and during the nights we visit (bad) neighborhoods and we show evangelistic films. We give teachings and pray for the sick. We have seen the powerful hand of God rescuing young people from gangs and drug addiction, the glory and honor be to our Lord. I have no formal preparation as a leader (the truth is that we use the word WORKERS) but since my conversion to the gospel about three years ago God has given me love for lost souls. Yes, I attend church faithfully, but I have not been able to prepare myself very well in the word. The reason of my email is that I want to encourage you and thank you for your tracts and teachings that you are preparing. We print copies of your tracts and books to give away to the people during our small crusades. It is economically feasible to print them and photocopy them. My wife and three little ones serve with me, and this is the ministry God has given us.

I keep you in our prayers and please visit us in Nicaragua."

Note: We have all our material free on our site, and in MS Word and Adobe Acrobat formats so that people can download and print them freely for distribution.

from sebastiáo - Ipanema Brazil April 2006 [this was half in Portuguese and half in Spanish]

Dear Pastor,

"That the peace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you and all the brethren in the church. I am a member of the Baptist Church in Ipanema - State of Minas Gerais, Brazil. I would like to have a Spanish hymnal and also some Sunday School literature. I already have a Bible. If it were possible, please send me these things."

from Estela - Mexico April 2006

"Why are you so know it all, and you speak without deeply knowing the Catholic religion, but you should instead shut up and not distortion their teachings. First you should study the Bible and after that speak, that the Holy Spirit should illuminate you so that you have understanding to love the true doctrine of Christ, and then love your neighbor and not insult things that you don't know about."

from Jose - Chile April 2006

"I am asking if you can send me the books on your webpage because they are excellent and I am very interested in them, but I do not have the funds to buy them because I am poor and without work. I am really interested in them if you can provide them for me."

(We sent him a package with one of each).

from Pastor Joel Obazuwa - Ivory Coast March 2006

Wrote asking us for support, and I answered him to build up his own church, teach them tithing and sacrificial giving, and look to the Lord to supply his daily bread through that biblical means.

from Nicolas - Spain Oct 2005

"I have attentively read this article relating to the education and discipline of the children based in the Bible. I would ask a counsel from you because I am facing this problem with one of my daughters...."

from Francisco - Mexico Aug 2005

"Excuse my writing to you pastor, but I read in one of your pages that if a person refuses to believe in Christ, he is condemned to eternal punishment, and my doubt is if this person who has done this will always be under this condemnation until they die, or does the possibility exist that this person can still repent and believe in him?"
