February 22, 2008 Well good news and bad news. The good news is that I broke down and bought a HP iPAQ pda (Pocket PC) in December as my Christmas present. The bad news is that I am viewing my website (especially this library) in the PDA, and it stinks. I have been studying e-Sword for Pocket PC, and basically my conclusion is that for books, a regular PDF file is best. Since my library is filled with such PDFs I loaded them into my Pocket browser, and they don't reformat the pages right. That means basically the entire library needs to be reformatted, i.e. a lot of work.

The other news here is that I am realizing that the pretty website stuff simply is useless baggage on a PDA, and really my time spent in that is not value to me. I will be working to make a simpler interface that what I have. I want to work towards pages that can be read easily on a PDA without hassle. I only want only one set of pages that are viewable and nice in either a desktop PC or a mobile device.

Oct 4, 2007 I want to advise those who use my library that I am slowly removing all references to works off of my own site. That means that more modern works are getting canned. Why? Because these things disappear so frequently (moved, site down, or site no longer available) that it does little good to list them if they disappear on me within a month or two. As such, I am limiting or removing all offsite links. When I check a page for valid links any offsite links that are invalid I just remove and don't look for them again. My personal library has grown greatly reaching around 7 Gigabytes of files. I do not feel that it is necessary to go beyond what I already have. I regularly add between 3-4 up to 20 full length books each week to my files. I feel that within this mountain of literature, there is enough good stuff to make any modern (i.e. under copyright) works just more of the same.

Sep 16 2007  I am slowly redoing all the individual Author pages. I am reformatting them with the table of contents for each book. I am also including a lot of offsite works to fill out the library some. Look on the right hand side of the pages for a pull out page navigation menu. Also I am working on a extra bit of code that will create a popup with the books table of contents. Pass the cursor over the link and it should pop up. (Authors -A- has some of these new bubble help).

Aug-23-07 Working heavily in 34 Salvation- I have been busy with eSword modules so I am not doing as much here. I will try to get more done in doctrines here for the rest of 2007. I am also working on redesigning the Bibliographic Divisions page.

06-jul-03 Moved all PDF works into individual folders (A-Z) to facilitate orderly arrangement of files on my part. Sorry for this because it will probably cause broken link errors for a while until the search engines catch up. All the files are still there, just in a separate folder under library. For example Akin - Holy Spirit and Worship (a) 109K (17 pages) was in library/Akin - Holy Spirit and Worship (a).pdf, and is now in library/A/Akin - Holy Spirit and Worship (a).pdf.
