02.01 Greek Bibles

It is my recommendation that you download the free Bible program e-Sword and go to my download page to download the Bibles in Greek, Hebrew, and other languages that you want, and use this setup to study the original text. e-Sword has Greek and Hebrew dictionaries that will do automatic lookup by just clicking the word. (Greek lexicons available are Strongs, Thayers).

Street Evangelism - Unlike most other "ministries" that have the main ministry of "raising money," we are just a local church. The website is maintained completely from the personal income of Missionary David Cox. We only have about 20 supporting churches, and 7 individuals which give monthly. Even so, our main ministry is not literature nor our website. That is "extra". Our main ministry is street evangelism (door-to-door), and church planting, and our website and literature ministry are for that purpose (for us). The English library is a resource for me to write and study. If you think our site is different, it is. It is for my personal use as a pastor, but I have opened it for all. Please consider monthly financial support of our ministry as we "do our own thing" here in Mexico City.

Why don't you charge for your books and this library? - I started a church bookstore at one point in my ministry, and I had a lot of contact with bookstores. I found that most all literature ministries are motivated by riches and financial gain. They sell books with poor doctrine, or outright heresy for financial gain. This is not a valid ministry before the Lord then. Most Christian bookstores today should carry the name "Charismatic Bookstores" because the majority of their literature is heresy and useless for the Pentecostal Movement which has no discernment. I feel that it is incorrect to charge for the things that we provide in the ministry. "freely ye have received, freely give" (Mat 10:8) I see no room for profiteers in the ministry. Our literature (this website is considered part of that ministry) is fundamental and sound in doctrine, and is completely free. Everything I write is downloadable, and for those in our church or who can come to pick their literature, we print it at our cost and give it away. So your gifts to our ministry is how all of this operates. Please donate something! Even a few dollars help greatly if a lot of people do it.

A Grammar of Attic and Ionic Greek (1902)
This grammar of ancient Greek language deals with grammar of two most important dialects of Greece before the the time of Alexander The Great. This book presents us with a very detailed course of Greek grammar that allows us to understand the changes in ancient Greek. This book is not only very well didactically arranged but also interesting, what is very rare in grammar books. Moreover, this handbook has information that could not be found in other grammars. Most Greek courses consider only the Attic dialect (because it's classical). 'A Grammar of Attic and Ionic Greek' lets us to see ancient Greek in a much wider spectrum. flipbook

Who is David Cox? - People ask who are you? I was raised in a Christian family in Charleston, SC. My home church was Ferndale Baptist Church, which for most of the time I attended there, our pastor was Dr. Bob Besancon. We are independent Fundamental separated Baptists. I attended Bob Jones University in Greenville, SC, and I graduated in 1979 with a B.A. in Christian Missions, Greek Minor, and I have a M.A: in Bible and a M.S. in Educational Administration and Supervision, both from BJU. I was working towards a doctorate, but the Lord led me to go on to the mission field instead of completely that doctoral work. I have around 90 hours of Graduate classes under my belt though. Our current home church is Orlando Bible Church in Orlando FL.
