Overview
How e-Sword is set up

Okay so you want to make a commentary module. Basically your material is going to have to be preformatted before you start, and it is basically going to be in RTF code, from Genesis to the end of Revelation with each verse in a single paragraph. You got it to that point right? No. Then you are going to have to "massage" the data. This is easier if you do not use RTF coding or you are light on the RTF coding. If you are heavily using RTF coding, think long development time!

We are going to have several options here. Basically Microsoft Access and e-Sword Med which are going to demand us to copy and paste each verse in the Bible. That is somewhere around 31,102 verses, so that will be labor intensive.

Best or Text2DAO is about the only possibilities I see functional here because it will import the entire thing at once.

You will first format the raw text (probably in a MS Word file or MS Excel Spreadsheet.

From there you will import the text into your module format with one of the importer programs (see Creating Bible modules for more details).
